I Love My SSU! - Savannah State University’s first children’s book written by Desmond W. Delk hosted his first official book-signing event at the Adams Park Library book sale in Atlanta, Georgia on December 1, 2012.
Delk, who was a former Health Education Lecturer at the university along with his student Morgan Adams, who at the time was a freshman collaborated with Mascot Books to produce a top-selling book for the university.

Delk has sold over 200 copies since it was released in November 2012 and donated a share of copies to local youth development centers as well as charities for youth to read and become inspired.
